The Non Food Certification Company (NFCC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Organic Food Federation.
NFCC developed standards in 2003 to provide certification to processors of personal care products which are not currently covered by organic regulations.
The objectives of NFCC are to ensure that only organically certified and wild plant materials are used in the processed products we certify.
Our standards define the rules of organic production and criteria for wild designation of plant materials.
NFCC standards for the certification of processed products require that they are characterised by the use of organic or wild plant derived ingredients.
In order to apply for non food certification please complete our online application form.
A quotation will be generated and submitted based on the information provided. To advance with certification, we will need you to return your signed quotation to us along with a deposit.
Once the signed quotation form and deposit have been received you will be asked to complete and return the appropriate certification agreement form which can be located on our downloads page.
Once we have received the completed Certification Agreement Form, an inspector will be allocated and a date and time for an audit will be confirmed.
Our audits are carried out by fully qualified, approved inspectors who have an in-depth knowledge of organic certification and if you require an audit at short notice our staff will make every effort to help.
